Bad news for Microsoft; Google and Dell team up to launch Chromebook Enterprise laptop for business

In a bid to minimize business owners’ interests in windows-powered laptops, Google had teamed up with Microsoft biggest partner, Dell to launch new Chromebook Enterprise devices into business. The partnership isn’t exclusive to Dell only, according to the Verge. Google will also likely work with other hardware manufacturers later on.

The Chromebook Enterprise laptops are hoping to become the champion of Enterprise computing institution, despite the fact that Microsoft has dominated enterprise computing for years. Dell will be offering their regular clamshell design and a 2-in-1 option and google is contributing their chrome Os. Presently, Google is working with Dell to produce versions of the latitude 5400, to be priced from $699, and Dell latitude 5300 two in one, to be priced from $819.

Google is working hard to ensure that these new Chromebook Enterprise devices are being builth to ensure they are compatible with IT needs. Therefore, IT admins can quite easily integrate these chromebooks into existing windows environments.

For a start, two new Chromebook Enterprise devices will be released on August 27 with lots of amazing features. This includes:

  1. Dell cloud-based support services that allows admins to have greater control over how these Chromebooks are rolled out
  2. Improved load time, add search on every page and material design elements
  3. Intel’s 8th Gen Core i7 processors, up to 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage.
  4. LTE options and USB – docking
