About Marqo
Marqo is an AI-powered e-commerce search and product discovery startup that helps online merchants enhance search relevancy, personalisation, and conversion rates using semantic and multimodal search technologies.
Marqo is hiring a Staff Software Engineer (Agentic Search) to provide senior technical leadership in the development of large-scale AI-driven search and retrieval systems for e-commerce. The engineer will be responsible for driving architecture, mentoring other engineers, and owning systems from design to production.
Position Description
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable distributed systems.
- Build high-performance search, retrieval, and machine learning applications.
- Architect search and recommendation systems powered by AI.
- Build own projects from start to finish: design, deployment, and continued operations.
- Work with customers and product teams to address complicated technical problems.
- Lead technical direction and mentor fellow engineers.
- Enhance engineering standards, system dependability and platform performance.
Salary
$15,000.00/month and above
