Dave is an inspector. Now he’s going through one of Europe’s biggest chemical plants, notebook and pen in hand, hunting for the corrosion that may bring the whole complex down. Tomorrow he’s got an even longer time on the part of the job he hates: putting those scribbles into a report.

We are constructing the greatest AI-native data-collecting layer for the 2 billion field workers like Dave. Scope makes it incredibly simple for inspectors to collect field data, make choices, and generate reports. In doing so, we’re building the world’s largest dataset of the state of the built world and the judgements experts make about it.

It’s a $2T market; we’re just getting started, and we have goals. We grew sales 5x last year and are on target for 10M ARR in 2026. We collaborate with 6 of the top 10 companies in the field. Our customers inspect facilities and products like AstraZeneca and SpaceX.

We have collected a best-in-class team: acquired and future founders, people from Imperial, Carnegie Mellon, and Oxford, and from Goldman Sachs, Flexport, and Amazon.

We launched out of Entrepreneurs First in 2024 and have since raised an oversubscribed $20m round led by Index Ventures, the group behind Figma, Revolut and Wiz, who have funded over 100 startups to date.

What you will do

You will own difficulties end-to-end. No tickets issued, no requests to stay in your lane. You will talk to users and figure out what matters, create the answer, then build it and see if it works.

We work five days a week face to face in our beautiful office in Farringdon. We feel we can go quicker and handle problems more effectively together, and it is more fun!

We are searching for folks who want to help invent what inspection software should look like in a post-AI era.

Your task

• Build the technologies that take voice notes, photographs, videos, and proactively complete reports.
• Engineer how we feed context to AI models: how to store, fetch, and pick standards, reports, media, user intention.
• Evolve our workflow builder to self-evolving software.
• Design the product architecture: how to handle unstructured data, where and how to leverage AI, how to ensure smooth offline and online behaviour, how to keep the product simple as it gets more powerful.

Who you are

We believe the best teams are made up of super-agentic managers of one. People who care more about the shipping results than the badge collection.

You are a deep technical person and love building applications. You should apply.

Ideally, you have good technical skills with an emphasis on mobile applications.

You have 5+ years of expertise and enough battle scars to know which technical decisions are the ones that matter.

Expo / React Native experience is a huge boost.
