Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential

• Master’s degree in pharmacy (4 years or equivalent)
• Member of General Pharmaceutical Council (registered pharmacist or pre-registration pharmacy trainee during applications, must be a registered pharmacist at the time of start date)
• English language qualification – GCSE grade C or above or IELTS score of 6.5 in writing and 6.0 in all other components.
• Professional knowledge of medicines management systems and processes in an integrated NHS.

Experience

Essential

• Knowledge and experience of healthcare in a pharmacy

Desirable

• Demonstrate achievement in more than one area of medicines management
• Hospital experience
• Technical Services
• Experience of teaching & supervision of preregistration pharmacists, technicians and assistants.
• Primary care experience

Language Skills

Desirable

• Welsh Speaker (level 1)
