Description of the Job:

Healing Touch Care is seeking part-time care support workers for several locations in Andover and Whitchurch, Hampshire, as well as surrounding areas. Care visits to clients in their homes are part of the job. We can also offer work during the week to enhance hours for qualified applicants. Employee assistance programs, free uniforms, DBS, and mandatory training are all offered, along with support for further training. Among the tasks could be:

• helping service users with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and washing and bathing in the morning.
• assisting with meal, snack, and beverage preparation as needed.
  support for continuity.
• assisting the service user with everyday tasks that they are unable to complete on their own, and providing general care and assistance as a team.
• helping to administer and manage medicines.
• assisting clients in making use of their tools and aids.
• assisting with getting ready for bed at night.

Requirements & Skills:

The following abilities and background are necessary for success as a care support worker:

• A car and a complete UK driver’s license are desired but not necessary.
  Take pleasure in collaborating with others.
• kindness, empathy, and compassion.
• While not necessary, prior experience and related credentials are advantageous. Complete instructions are given.

Salary & Working Hours

Pay range: £12.82 to £21.00 per hour. Expected weekly hours: 1.0–37.5
