Care Assistant – Skilled Worker Visa Sponsorship Available

Job Summary

Skilled Worker Visa Sponsorship Available after 3 months of successful employment (subject to performance, business needs and UK Home Office eligibility).

We are looking for a Care Assistant that has a caring and committed approach to join our team. The successful candidate will be key in offering high quality support and assistance to people living in care facilities or people receiving home care services. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of others, ensuring their comfort, safety and wellness. Excellent communication skills, organising skills and a caring mindset are essential. Must be flexible with working hours and have a genuine interest in caring for others.

Obligations

• Assist residents or customers with personal hygiene, clothing and mobility.
• As required help with meal prep and feeding.
• Assistance in administering medicines according to care plans.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to improve wellbeing.
• Good records of care delivered must be maintained utilising IT systems.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, residents and family members to ensure that tailored care is delivered.
• Strictly adhere to health & safety standards to guarantee a safe environment for everybody.
• Transport clients to appointments or trips, as necessary.

Work History

• Previous experience of working in a care home or providing home care is ideal but not essential, training will be provided to qualified individuals.
• Knowledge of care plans and the ability to change support accordingly.
• Good IT abilities to accurately keep documents and update records.
• Excellent English communication abilities (written and verbal).
• A valid driver’s license is preferred for positions that require travel or transporting clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience and the ability to exhibit empathy.
