• Level 3 Certificate in Sports Therapy, or Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral or equivalent
• To be registered on the Register of Exercise Professionals

Desirable

• Level 4 Certificate in Delivering physical activity for adults with mental health conditions
• Further Specialist training relevant to Mental Health

Experience

Essential

• Using a specialist skill that is relevant to mental health
• Using a range of fitness/health related skills
• Delivering and promoting sports, health, fitness and physical activity with people who have experienced varying mental health problems

Desirable

• Work with a Multi-disciplinary team Planning and running groups
• Experience of role development activities
