About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced manager to run the day-to-day operations of our facility The Royal Hotel in Elgin. Successful candidates will possess great leadership abilities, a love for hospitality, and a commitment to delivering extraordinary guest experiences. This position demands an energetic person to direct staff, oversee guest relations and ensure efficient operation of all hotel services. Multilingual abilities are preferred to foster better communication with a variety of guests and team members. The Hotel Manager will be responsible for the up keep of service standards, operational efficiency and organisational excellence.

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 p.a. based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Led and managed all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage and maintenance.
• Oversee guest service to maintain a friendly environment and address visitor complaints in a timely manner.
• Oversee human resources functions, including hiring, training, performance reviews and staff scheduling.
• Create and enforce operational policies and processes that improve efficiency and quality of service.
• Work with vendors, suppliers and service providers to ensure high levels of quality and value for money.
• Oversee financial functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Understanding of health & safety rules and hospitality business norms.
