Lenovo has teamed up with Google to launch a new smart clock with Google Assistant that can now showcase your Google photos collection.

Before this launch, the Lenovo Smart Clock small screen wasn’t offering the basic function of acting as a digital picture frame for your photo library.

This was quite disappointing to users because Google Nest Hub smart display and Amazon’s various bedside Echo with screen had those features.

However, an update had been released to resolve the issue. If you own one of the Lenovo Smart Clock, the auto-update should have taken effect by now.

You can now be able to set the smart clock to show your Google photo images when idle. In the absence of Google photos, you can choose to see Google’s featured photos instead.

According to Google, all Lenovo Smart Clock owners can now enable continued conversation mode, that allows them to carry out back-and-forth conversations with Google Assistant more naturally without having to continually repeat “Hey Google.”

Indeed, Lenovo Smart Clock is superb right now as a smart alarm clock with Google Assistant that can play music, show your photo memories and pull up a camera feed if you want to check on what’s happening somewhere in your home or outside.
