We are looking for a caring and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this profession, you will be offering vital support to people in their own homes or care homes, making sure they are comfortable and properly cared for. The ideal applicant will have a good understanding of care plans and be able to interact well with clients and their families. A driving licence is essential to allow travel to clients. PEG feed is a must-try.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal preparation and medication administration.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to customers to help them keep their independence
• You will follow and deliver care plans specific to each client’s needs, ensuring that all care is delivered according to protocols.
• Document client progress accurately and report changes in condition to appropriate health care specialists.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to provide high-quality care delivery.
• Drive to client’s premises as necessary, ensuring prompt attendance for appointments.
• Participate in training programs and team meetings to improve your skills and knowledge of home care methods.

Experience

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but training will be given.
• Working effectively with clients and coworkers requires good English communication skills.
• Knowledge of IT systems for documentation purposes is an advantage.
• A full driving licence for travel between client sites.
