Job Role:

Location: Killearn, Balfron, Drymen and Mid Argyll

Hours: Average 35 hours/week + opportunity for overtime

Salary: 17.20-18.00/hour

Main requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Use of your own vehicle for work
• Right to work in the UK

What we want:

We are seeking a kind and dedicated Care Assistant to join our rural care team covering Killearn, Balfron, Drymen and adjacent regions.

It is a gratifying and necessary position that assists people to continue to live safely and joyfully at home. You’ll support clients with day-to-day activities, provide companionship and promote their welfare – all while creating significant relationships in your local community.

We are pleased to provide

• Great hourly pay rate: £17.20 – £18.000 per hour
• 2 weekends off each month
• Paid full running time
• Travel paid at 45p per mile
• Travel time integrated into your rota, enabling actual travel between visits
• Extended Visits (45-minute personal care visits minimum)
• Continued assistance and training from our greater Hamill Homecare network

• Experienced in offering expert care and support
• Trustworthy, reliable and discreet
• Responsive to the evolving needs of the client
• Understanding National Care Standards
• An effective communicator who appreciates working as part of a team

Main points:

• Permanent contract (average 35 hours/week) with possibility of overtime
• Various shifts including AM, PM, overnights, and at least one split shift per week
• Must have access to your own vehicle
