The Role & Training

This is a real Parts Advisor role where your communication skills and IT comfort will be important. You will be the initial point of contact for workshop professionals and retail customers who look to you to promptly and precisely locate the right parts.

Your day to day will look like:

• Advise consumers face-to-face, via phone and by email, diagnosing parts from descriptions, registrations or VINs.
• Recommend the best solutions and source components quickly from our UK and European supplier network to drive sales with confidence.
• Work through stock records, Excel and supplier databases with our twin screen desktop configuration
• Accurately process orders, quotations and deliveries.
• Assist the staff with general responsibilities (taking deliveries, keeping the counter tidy.

We are searching for who.

Self-Confidence & Drive: Proactive, confident and driven to sell, create client trust and learn the business inside out.

Automotive Knowledge or Engineering Background: We encourage applications from candidates with an engineering background, practical mechanical experience, or a solid general understanding of cars and machinery.

Excellent Communication Skills: Fluent in English, good telephone manner and genuine customer service focus. The important stuff.

Strong PC Literacy: A good working knowledge of a desktop PC is required. We are a double screen house thus digital savvy is a requirement.

Organised & Detail-Oriented: Highly structured and enthusiastic to learn.

Licence: Full UK driving licence preferred.
