It stars a single-player mode and the gameplay concentrates on action and shootouts with limited survival horror elements. It also adds context-sensitive controls. Depending on the circumstance, players can relate to the environment. The major foes are vicious villagers referred to as “Los Ganados”. The inventory system shows a grid system, represented by an attaché case. The case is upgradeable enabling for more space. Weapons, ammunition, and healing items are stored in the case. Different from the original, that uses tank controls and fixed camera angles, the remake features an over-the-shoulder camera, a third-person shooter gameplay and allows players the choice to move while using their weapons. 7. Resident Evil

The game that started it all, 1996’s Resident Evil showed what it means to be a survival horror game. Now, however, more than 20 years later, it’s not as impressive as it was in days past. The atmosphere and story are solid, but the gameplay mechanics don’t feel as evolved as they do in the games that follow.

For fans of the series, Resident Evil is a great time, fit with the fixed camera, scarce resources, and isolated atmosphere seen in other titles. The second entry improves upon the first in almost every way, and the fourth comes with a complete overhaul to the gameplay. This is one of the best resident evil game to start with.

9. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Resident Evil 7 is a divergence from the Resident Evil  series in terms of narrative and design. Resident Evil 7 is filled with terrifying ambiance.

Rather than control a STARS agent like in other series, in Resident Evil 7, you play as Ethan Winters, who receives a letter from his wife who disappeared prior to the start of the game. She has asked him to head to a deserted plantation in Louisiana, where he discovers numerous alarming revelations about his wife and himself. This is one of the best resident evil games to enjoy on switch.

Available on the following Platforms: PS4, Xbox One, Windows, Nintendo Switch

10. Resident Evil Zero

In Zero you play as two characters simultaneously instead of one. Zero lacks the signature item boxes seen in other Resident Evil titles, forcing players to drop unnecessary items and backtrack to them if needed. Zero features officer Rebecca Chambers and convicted criminal Billy Coen as they inspect a deserted training structure for employees of the pharmaceutical company Umbrella.

The list above presents the best of the wildest survival horror series in games. Resident Evil games may not always be spectacular but they’ve always been exciting so, therefore, enjoy the above if you’ve never tried any.
