1. Total Rickall
This is the 4th episode of the 2nd season and the 15th overall episode. It premiered on August 16, 2015 on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim programme. In Rick’s absence, a powerful alien parasite poisons the Smiths’ memory and tries to take control of their home. Rick returns back home, realizes the danger and shoots the parasite to death. But the more the Smiths shoot, the more parasites appear and cause confusion. In the confusion, Beth shoots Mr. Poopybutthole, mistaking him for a parasite. Total Rickall is a thrilling shooting spree.
2. Pickle Rick
Pickle Rick is the 3rd episode of the 3rd season. It first aired on August 6, 2017 and won an Emmy award in 2018, becoming the first in the series to achieve such an accolade. Episode 8 season 1. Premiered on Adult Swim on March 17, 2014. Rick’s frustration with cable TV leads him to install a new form which airs from infinite dimensions. He also provides Jerry, Beth, and Summer with an interdimensional goggle which allows them to see alternate versions of themselves.
7. Meeseeks and Destroy
It was first aired on January 20, 2014, and is the 5th episode of season 1. Here, other members of the Smith family ask Rick for a solution to their various problems. To meet their demand, the eccentric scientist conjures up aa Meeseeks Box containing the genie-like ‘Mr. Meeseeks.’ and his fellow Meeseeks. Failing to solve Jerry’s problems, the Meeseeks plan to kill him and set themselves free but he eventually manages to kill and thus free them.
Morty and Rick adventure to another world where they meet poor villagers, murder a giant, and Morty survives a rape attempt. The rapist, Jellybean, happens to be the king of the village. He is then killed by Rick at the end of the tale and both adventurers flee the village.
8. Auto Erotic Assimilation
This is the 3rd episode of season 2 and the 14th overall. It premiered on August 9, 2015. Joined by Summer this time around, the marauding Rick and Morty find themselves in an alien starship which Rick plans to loot. The ship’s crew are from a planet under the spell of Unity, Ricks ex-lover. As things unfold, Rick and Unity continue their love affair like never before. When Unity abruptly departs, a depressed Rick returns to Earth and attempts suicide.
9. The Rickshank Redemption
Season 3 episode 1, aired on April 1, 2017. Rick is held captive by the earth-conquering Galactic federation. Morty and summer as also kidnapped by other aliens but are saved by a SEAL team Ricks from the council of Ricks who later detain them. It takes Ricks’ spells to eventually free both kids as Jerry and Beth’s marriage later hit the rocks.
10. Lawnmower Dog
This is the 2nd episode of Season 1. It premiered on Adult Swim on December 9, 2013. In this episode, Jerry successfully asks Rick for a device that could make Morty’s dog behave more like humans. Rick and Morty then continue with their adventures, encountering characters such as Morty’s math teacher Mr. Goldenfold, Mrs. Pancakes, and others.
Morty’s ambitious dog succeeds in using robotics and robotic dogs to overpower the human race and take control of the earth briefly before they decide to leave the earth for humans and relocate to another world.
11. A Rickle in Time
This episode first aired on July 26, 2015. It is the 1st episode of season 2. After freezing time for six months, Rick is trying to unfreeze it but an argument between his two grandchildren leads to time being divided into two parallel realities. Rick’s attempts to unify the two time zones fail because the kids will not stop arguing. The situation spirals out of control, nearly claiming Morty’s life before Rick saves the situation as usual.
Meanwhile, Jerry and Beth knock down a deer on their way back from ice cream shopping. Beth spends some time treating and freeing the deer despite a local hunter’s protests for her to surrender the animal.
12. Rest and Ricklaxation
Episode 6 season 3, aired on August 27, 2017. The adventurers are exhausted due to several adventures and decide to relax by having a vacation at an alien spa. There, they start yet another adventure with a toxicology machine. Events from the spa makes Morty run away from Rick. But Rick soon locates Morty and solves the toxicity problem which made Morty flee. By the end of the episode, Morty had dated three ladies.
13. Close Rickcounters of a Rick Kind
This is the 10th episode of the 1st season, aired on April 7, 2014. It is a trans-dimensional tale filled with many Ricks and Morty’s. After 27 alternate Ricks are murdered, the council of Ricks accuses the original Rick of the crimes and decides to arrest him. But Rick is annoyed and decides to track the killer of the alternate Ricks. It later turned out that the ‘evil’ Rick was under a Morty spell.

Episode 6 of season 2, first aired on August 30, 2015. Here, Rick’s microverse car suffers a breakdown due to battery problems. After giving his powerful car an instruction to keep Summer safe, Rick takes Morty for another adventure into the battery to attempt fixing it. Another world develops inside the battery and they encounter two scientists, Zeep and Kyle.
