Summary of the Job

We are looking for a professional and dedicated Photographer with experience in maternity and newborn photography to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a good eye, a portfolio that shows their ability to capture personal moments, and competency with industry-standard editing software. Duties

• Do quality studio or on-location maternity and newborn shoots, putting clients at ease.
• To use modern photographic techniques to produce high-quality emotive photographs to match the client’s expectations.
• Edit photographs in Adobe Photoshop, Capture One and other Adobe Creative Suite applications to improve the quality of images while retaining natural aesthetics.
• Coordinate post-production workflow and deliver altered photographs within established time frames.
• Keep photographic equipment, props and studio environment organised and ready for use in sessions.
• Work with clients to establish their vision and guide them through posture, lighting and styling decisions.
• Post compelling content on social media platforms that shows recent work and promotes the studio’s services.
• Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and software changes in photography to consistently enhance your skills and the quality of your service.

Technical Skills

• Technical expertise is demonstrated by a good portfolio in newborn and maternity photography.
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Capture One, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite to Edit Photos and Videos as needed.
• Good understanding of the concepts of photography including lighting, composition and colour correction.
• Strong editing skills and an eye for detail to create polished photographs for client delivery.
• Experienced in managing social media channels for marketing purposes.
• Good communication skills to engage with clients of all ages and backgrounds in a professional manner.
• Organised with the capacity to juggle several sessions at once while keeping high standards of quality.
• Professionalism and creativity blended with a welcoming attitude that puts clients at ease throughout shoots.
