Specialist Chef (South Indian & Indo-Chinese) | UK Visa Sponsorship Transfer Available

We are only accepting submissions from people who are presently living and working in the UK and are eligible for temporary visa options.

Your first UK Skilled Worker / Chef Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for this transfer must have been issued before 4 April 2024, to reach the legal minimum income threshold of £31,300.

Due to Home Office wage threshold limitations, we cannot evaluate visas received after April 2024 or applications from overseas.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Opening

Seeking a talented and modest professional to become part of our team.

We provide Visa Sponsorship for candidates who are already in the UK on a Chef CoS and looking to transfer to a new company.

We will train you on our special home recipes, but you need to have “day one” competence in Parotta stretching, Dosa making and wok-based Indo-Chinese cooking.

Main Responsibilities

Specialist Production

Serve best quality Parottas, Dosas and Indo-Chinese meals.

Kitchen Excellence

5-star hygiene and Level 2 Food Safety standards have to be followed.

Teamwork

Be a team player, no “chef ego”, assist the Manager and Head Chef with all operations.

Efficiency

Monitor portion sizes and reduce waste to preserve your profit margins.

Mentorship

Assist in training junior personnel and help generate ideas for seasonal menus.

Experience & Attributes Required

Visa Status

Must be on a transitory visa in the UK with a Chef CoS.

Technical Skill

Good experience in real Parotta, Dhosa and Wok cooking.

Attitude

Hard-working, flexible, and team-minded.

Experience of working in high-volume, high-grade vegetarian kitchens.

Compliance

Must have a valid Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.
