Responsibilities

• Supervise and support care workers to ensure high standards of care in line with individual care plans.

• Lead by example by demonstrating professional conduct and good caregiving practices.

• Develop, review and update personalised care plans to reflect individuals’ changing needs.

• Monitor daily care operations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

• Guide, mentor and motivate care staff, encouraging teamwork and professional development.

• Communicate effectively with service users, families, healthcare professionals and colleagues.

• Maintain accurate records of care activities, incidents and staff schedules using IT systems.

• Manage competing priorities while ensuring care quality and residents’ wellbeing.

• Help create a supportive environment in which individuals feel respected, valued and safe.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of healthcare experience — explicitly required.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise, motivate and support care staff.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of developing and implementing personalised care plans.

• Valid driving licence — required by the advert; confirm whether access to a vehicle is also necessary.

• Proficiency with IT systems used for care documentation and reporting.

• Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

• English language proficiency.

• Compassion, professionalism and a commitment to person-centred care.
