Table of Contents
- Support the delivery of the Cardiac Catheter Lab Service
- To assist in the provision of an efficient radiology service and be responsible for service delivery and service improvement
- To undertake regular audits of their own practice and of other Radiographers
- To assist in the facilitation and coordination of the patient pathway within the lab, taking into consideration local and national objectives providing advice on developments.
- To deputise for the Superintendent Radiographer
- To support 24/7 PPCI service, including bank/public holidays as required by the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
- BSc Diagnostic Radiographer (or equivalent)
- HCPC registered
- PPCI experience
Desirable
- Immediate Life Support
- Higher Professional qualification/Masters level
Experience
Essential
- Ability to carry out radiographic procedures to a high standard
- Considerable Band 5 Radiographer experience with a sound clinical knowledge of radiography and/or fluoroscopy and/or cross-section
- Sound knowledge of ionising radiation legislation
- PPCI service experience
Desirable
- Experience of stock control
- Specific expertise in relevant cardiac cathlab modalities
