Description

• Deliver communications consulting and production of communications products to a high standard for a range of clients
• Analyse profitable performance of consulting and production products while adhering to systems and controls
• Build relationships with Pensions Administration, other Practices, and IT departments
• Maintain accurate records of client meetings, actions, and key decisions
• Deliver communications projects within agreed client fees
• Write and edit copy for communications products and channels in varied writing styles
• Peer review, edit, and proofread content for pensions technical and grammatical accuracy
• Test digital content to confirm successful deployment
• Manage and support data-led projects such as Annual Benefit Statement production and Pension Increase
• Work with the internal print unit on offline client solutions
• Set up client projects and quotes in the project management system
• Follow production processes and controls, including email campaigns and website building
• Develop client production schedules and secure delivery resources
• Support colleagues with consulting and production projects
• Maintain project management ISO standards, including project plans, version control, file naming, status reports, and communications
• Obtain and agree external cost estimates with clients and monitor recorded costs

Requirements

• Experience working in a communications role within DB pensions or financial services
• Proven strategic thinking and leadership in communications planning and delivery
• Exceptional copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
• Experience managing budgets and revenue targets
• Experience of the bid process and writing commercial proposals
• Excellent internal and external stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to receive direction and respond positively to constructive feedback
• Understanding of pensions legislation
• Experience working with public sector clients or central government
• PMI or equivalent qualifications
