Table of Contents
- Build and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable AWS-based infrastructure
- Develop and improve infrastructure-as-code, automation, and self-service tooling
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and DevOps teams on cloud and infrastructure best practices
- Contribute to observability, monitoring, and incident response practices
- Apply security best practices to infrastructure and operational processes
- Participate in peer code reviews and share knowledge with colleagues
Requirements
- Around 4+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure and production services
- Hands-on experience operating production workloads in AWS using DevOps best practices
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python (required), or PowerShell or Bash
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows environments
- Experience automating operational workloads and infrastructure on AWS
- Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet or similar configuration management tools
- Good Python scripting skills and experience with .NET, Ruby, Java or PowerShell
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts, tools and pipeline design
- Experience in Agile and DevOps environments
- Experience supporting distributed and highly available AWS applications or services
- Solid Linux administration skills and working knowledge of Windows systems
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, load balancing and firewalls
- Experience with serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway
- Experience participating in peer code reviews and following software engineering best practices
