Summary

We’re looking for a dedicated and confident Senior Carer to join our friendly team at Hollywynd Rest Home — a small, independent residential care home with a Good CQC rating.

You’ll be joining a well-established and supportive team with a long-standing Manager and Deputy, and a caring, stable staff group who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.

About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:

• Run the shift when on duty, ensuring high standards of care and teamwork are maintained.
• Support, guide, and mentor care staff — leading by example on the floor.
• Work closely with the management team to maintain compliance and uphold our person-centered values.
• Work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend
• Have the opportunity for overtime when available.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about resident care and continuous improvement.
• Flexible, reliable, and confident in leading a team.
• Calm under pressure and able to make sound decisions.
• Keen to progress within their care career.

Qualifications & Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred).
• Experience as a Senior Carer or in a similar leadership role within a care home setting.
