The Care Worker will be responsible for providing high-quality care and creating a supportive environment for our service users.

Duties

• Assist patients with personal care, including activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help patients prepare meals and make sure they get sufficient nourishment.
• Assist with manual handling & transferring of patients as needed.
• Observe and record the patient’s behaviour and health condition and communicate any changes to management, family, and health workers.
• Motivate patients to engage in meaningful activity to promote quality of life.
• Accompany patients to appointments and social activities as required.
• Keep your environment clean and safe.

Skillset

Qualifications

• A driving licence with a clean driving record is preferred.
• Home Care Experience
• Knowledge of how to establish and administer care plans
• Good grasp of English (written and spoken)
• IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes
• Great communication skills and the capacity to establish trusting relationships with clients and co-workers
• Compassionate approach with a true desire to enhance others’ well-being
