Summary

We are looking for a committed chemist to work on Saturday to join our health care team. This is a wonderful chance to give critical patient care in a fast paced pharmacy setting. The selected candidate will be responsible for distributing prescriptions, providing expert guidance and ensuring safe and effective use of medicines. This is the perfect opportunity for chemists that love to provide excellent service on the weekends and be able to provide continuity of care to our patients.

Duties:

• Advise patients on how to take their medications, potential side effects and drug interactions.
• Review patient medication history and ensure proper medication management.
• Work with health care experts to improve workflow.
• Keep thorough records of medicines delivered and patient contacts.
• Adhere to all pharmaceutical standards and safety procedures.
• Help with inventory management, including stock inspections and ordering supplies when required.
• Involve yourself in health promotion activities and medication reviews to support patient care initiatives.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or comparable regulatory organization.
• Demonstrated experience in community pharmacy.
• Good knowledge of PGDs, OTC experience.
• Good communication skills with capacity to give clear information to patients and health care colleagues.
• Showed dedication to patient care and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently on Saturdays, with good organisation and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a community pharmacy context is desirable but not essential.
