Summary of Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to be responsible for the management and coordination of all information technology functions within our organization. The chosen applicant will be responsible for the management of IT infrastructure, information security and team leadership of a team of IT specialists. This post offers an exciting chance to help create our technology environment, optimise systems and support organisational growth through creative IT solutions. The successful applicant will require good leadership skills, strong organisational skills and an awareness of current IT practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organisation’s IT strategy.
• Oversee all IT operations across the enterprise.
• To manage and lead all workers in IT sales and marketing.
• Develop IT budgets and monitor them.
• Make sure you comply with GDPR and information security regulations.
• Retain business continuity and catastrophe recovery strategies.
• Lead the implementation of software.
• Maintain partnerships with external software vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare management reports for the directors.
• Develop IT regulations and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in business growth and strategic technology strategy.

Skills

Applicant should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in IT or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in an IT management or senior management capacity.
• Experience in corporate infrastructure management.
• Experience with cyber security counsel.
• Skills in leadership and managing people.
• Excellent analytical and organising skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of software development methods is a plus but not required.

This position demands a proactive person with excellent organisation skills to guide our IT department towards innovative solutions and high security requirements and operational excellence. The ideal applicant will have excellent leadership qualities and also technical expertise across a wide range of IT disciplines.

Salary

£55,000.00 – £58,000.00 per year
