Female Support Workers Required

Location: Elburn /Livingston

Contract: Zero hours – 60hrs a week to fill

We are looking for 2 X Support Workers to join our team supporting female service users in the Elburn /Livingston area.

This is all within 1 household so driving is not essential as long as you can get to work but would also be advantageous as 1 service user does have a mobility car.

About the Role:

As the successful Support Worker, you will be working with these ladies to enable them to join in with activities in the local area, community activities and day centres.

You will support with daily activities, with elements of personal care and support in household tasks and maintenance of the house. Provision of preparing and serving nutritious meals.

Support with professional appointments and anything else our service user requires.

We are looking to cover between the hours of (phone number removed), and this can be flexible; you could work 1 whole shift, or they can be split in 2.

We have a total of 60 hours to cover over the week. Every second weekend will also need to be scheduled in. You will also be able to pick up extra hours to cover annual leave and sickness when required.

“Due to the nature of this contract, restraint and safety training will be provided. To be suitable for this training, you MUST have a 100% fit bill of health and be able to participate in the practical elements of the course.”

You would also get the opportunity to go on a UK holiday with the service users; this will be a holiday park on the south coast! Each will have their own caravan; they will be next to one another so can do group activities or relax individually.
