• Member of the Health and Care Professions Council
• Evidence of successful completion of specialist short courses in a relevant specialism
• Car driver

Desirable

• Membership of a relevant clinical excellence network
• Completion of RCSLT dysphagia competencies

Knowledge & Experience

Essential

• Relevant undergraduate experience of working with a paediatric caseload
• Relevant undergraduate experience of working with a range of assessment tools and appropriate therapeutic interventions
• Experience working in school settings
• Experience working as part of a paediatric MDT with children with a wide range of communication difficulties
• Understanding of the use of AAC with school-aged children
• Relevant undergraduate experience in assessing and working with children with DLD
• Experience of efficient and productive working within educational settings

Desirable

• Experience in assessing children with eating and drinking difficulties and providing an appropriate eating and drinking management plan
