Duties

• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry abilities to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for installation and repairs.
• Safely and efficiently lift large pipes, fittings, and equipment during project chores.
• Use basic math abilities to accurately measure, cut, assemble, and fit plumbing components.
• Regularly check the plumbing for leaks, clogs, or other problems.
• Assist team members with the installation of plumbing fixtures and mechanical equipment on various projects.

Experience

• Experience installing, repairing, or maintaining plumbing systems in business or residential settings.
• Knowledge of pipe fitting and system repair welding processes.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers; knowledgeable of power instruments used in plumbing work.
• A thorough comprehension of plumbing systems, fittings, and related building infrastructure from a mechanical viewpoint.
• Ability to safely and efficiently undertake heavy lifting during project execution.
• Basic math abilities needed for measurements and computations for precision work.
• Prior experience in carpentry work including framing or fixture mounting is desirable.
