What you’ll get

• 35p per mile for mileage

Your part in the community

• You will help people in their own homes in Taunton and the surrounding areas.
• You will base your work on the unique needs, wants, and life stories of each person.

This includes

• Helping with personal care in a way that is courteous and dignified
• Assisting with daily tasks like getting dressed, washing, and making meals
• Being there for someone and giving them emotional support
• Helping folks get to their community when they can
• Supporting independence instead of taking over
• Noticing changes in health and expressing worries
• Following care plans, but still being flexible with the person
• You don’t have to rush in and out.
• You are there to make each visit worth it.
