Cutting Shop Supervisor UK Visa Sponsorship Opportunity

The Cutting Shop (Pre-fab) Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day pre-fab production operations for the firm. Responsible for overall cutting shop management and overseeing the existing staff of machine shop workers.

Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to):

• Responsible for overall management of manufacturing activities and attaining production targets with appropriate capabilities, yield & lead time.
• Optimises cutting, folding, machining, and kitting processes to provide constant quality and productivity.
• ‘Hands-on’ approach to make sure machines are running efficiently
• Training fresh workers in the use of the machines
• Responsible for developing firm production standards/methods and regulations.
• Develops, justifies, and implements continuous process improvement efforts in quality, productivity, efficiency, capacity, and safety.
• Manages the personnel selection, performance, development, and training activities to ensure team competencies and capabilities meet the company’s goals and expectations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Two to three years of experience in a managerial job.
• Must have familiarity with CNC lasers, plasmas, and press brakes.
• Experience in making innovations to increase productivity & efficiencies.
• Must have recognisable leadership qualities, be able to demonstrate leadership skills, exercise sound judgement, be well organised, and have great communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possesses good knowledge of tools, systems, and procedures necessary to do the job.
• Must be computer literate with Microsoft Windows and Office software apps
