We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, with an emphasis on dignity and respect for each individual. The Care Worker will be responsible for delivering high-quality care while fostering a supportive environment for our service users.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support patients with meal preparation and ensure they receive proper nutrition.
• Assist in manual handling & transferring of patients as required.
• Monitor and document patient behaviour and health status, reporting any changes to management, family, and health professionals.
• Engage with patients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.
• accompany patients to appointments or social activities when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.

Skills

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record preferred
• Experience working in home care
• Knowledge of developing and implementing care plans
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
• Competent IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
