Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently dispense prescriptions.

• Maintain stock control and manage pharmacy inventory.

• Assist patients with their healthcare needs and provide excellent customer service.

• Support the smooth and efficient operation of the dispensary.

• Help minimise dispensing errors, stock losses and wastage.

• Follow pharmacy procedures and applicable regulations.

• Protect patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.

• Work collaboratively with pharmacy colleagues to maintain service quality.

• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispensing — essential.

• At least one year of pharmacy dispensing experience.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

• Good numeracy and literacy skills.

• Ability to handle confidential patient information responsibly.

• A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.

• Commitment to ongoing professional and personal development.

• Eligibility to meet the relevant requirements for the position and, if applicable, Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
