Summary of the Job

We are looking for a very skilled IT Business Analyst to join our fast-paced team. Duties

  • Use Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL scripting to design, build, and improve databases so that data can be stored and retrieved quickly and easily.
  • Use R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other computer languages to do a full analysis of the data to find patterns and insights.
  • Use Visio to make thorough process diagrams and documentation that will help with system development and process enhancements.
  • Work with teams from different departments to put best practices for business analysis into action and make sure the project is a success.
  • Help with database design projects that improve the security, integrity, and performance of data.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or a similar job, with a thorough understanding of how to execute business analysis.
  • Know how to use data visualisation tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Good understanding of project management principles and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • You should be good at programming in R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell), and you should have used SQL to query and maintain databases.
  • Experience dealing with Oracle databases and Microsoft SQL Server systems in real life.
  • Showed skill in designing and optimising databases.
  • Great at analysing data and turning complicated datasets into understandable insights.
  • Knowing how to use Visio for process mapping and writing down information.
