We are looking for a committed Full-Time Healthcare Support Worker to be part of our team at a well-regarded nursing facility. Key Responsibilities
- Assist seniors with activities of daily living, including personal cleanliness, mobility and nutrition
- Support the development of personalised care plans to meet the needs of each resident
- Keep IT systems current with accurate records of care delivered
- Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and team members to ensure high-quality care delivery
- Provide a safe and comfortable environment for residents at all times in the care home setting.
- Help with home care duties as needed, including light housekeeping and medicine reminders.
- Follow health and safety rules and infection control procedures strictly
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not needed; training will be provided
- Good computer skills to manage records and update care plans
- Good verbal and written communication abilities in English
- Ability to work well as part of a team, yet alone when necessary
- Desirable: Driving experience with a legal licence to assist people outside the care home environment
