Summary of the Position

Join our committed team of health & care workers, delivering person-centred, caring support to people who require assistance with personal care. As a Healthcare & Care worker, you will be helping to improve the quality of life of your customers via attentive care, implementing personalised care plans and building meaningful relationships. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, grooming, and movement to improve independence and comfort
• Develop and execute personalised care plans that align with the individual’s requirements and preferences.
• Provide home care services such as medication reminders, light housekeeping, and food preparation
• Ensure consistent and effective care delivery, including straightforward communication to clients, families and healthcare teams
• Accurately record care actions using IT technologies and maintain client records
• Follow safety guidelines for securely transporting clients to appointments or errands
• Keep track of clients’ health state and report any changes or concerns immediately to supervisors or health care professionals

Skills:

• A valid driving licence and solid driving skills to ensure the safe transportation of customers
• Experience of working in a residential care setting or delivering home care.
• Specialised in developing and implementing detailed care plans based on specific needs
• Proficiency in English to communicate with clients and team members
• Basic IT abilities for documentation and record keeping
• Strong communication abilities to establish trust and rapport with clients and their families
• Comprehensive knowledge of caring best practices, health & safety rules and confidentiality standards

Candidate Requirements

We are especially looking for applicants who have:

• Previous experience of UK health or social care settings
• Qualifications needed
• Relevant healthcare qualifications / Care Certificate if applicable
• Qualifications and registration for social work where applicable
• Nursing/healthcare support background
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Flexibility to work shifts as required
• Valid UK immigration status where appropriate
