As a support worker, you will help service users preserve their independence and enhance their quality of life in a secure and encouraging setting by offering them social, emotional, and practical support.

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist clients with routines and activities of daily living
• Offer friendship, encouragement, and emotional support.
• Help them with personal care when needed
• Assist community service users with appointments and social events
• Help with nutrition, hydration, and meal preparation
• Encourage people to utilise equipment safely and with mobility
• Help with medicine reminders and wellness tracking
• Keep thorough records and appropriately report any issues.
• Encourage self-reliance, autonomy, dignity, and person-centred assistance
• Collaborate closely with families, medical experts, and the larger support group.
• Make sure service users are always supported, safe, and at ease.
• Move between communal venues and the residences of service users in a safe manner
