HGV Office Staff – UK Visa Sponsorship
Position Overview
We are recruiting for a driven and detail orientated HGV Office Staff to join our logistics team. In this key role you will be responsible for the administration of heavy goods vehicle (HGV) operations ensuring the smooth integration of drivers, warehouses and clients. Your proactive attitude and great communication skills will help to expedite the shipping and receiving process, boost supply chain efficiency and maintain correct data entry records. In this paid role you will use your organisational abilities and logistics knowledge in an engaging atmosphere to have a measurable influence on our daily operations.
Functions
- Schedule HGVs and dispatch drivers efficiently to fulfil delivery timeframes
- Oversee transport management systems (TMS) to monitor shipments, deliveries and vehicle status
- Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately in systems such as AS400 and SyteLine
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff and clients by phone and email to give updates and solve problems
Skill
Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and supply chain software such as SyteLine or AS400
- Strong analytical ability to analyse logistical data and improve operations
Excellent communication skills with professional telephone etiquette and clear verbal/written communication.
Salary
Rate: £140.00-£145.00 per day
