Provide senior leadership and oversight to ensure safe, high-quality and person-centred care across designated services.

Ensure effective clinical governance systems and promote accountability, openness and continuous improvement.

Oversee learning from patient safety incidents, complaints and feedback.
-
Implement and sustain the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF).
-
Promote a learning-focused culture that prioritises improvement rather than blame.
-
Work closely with the Head of Operations to maintain safe and effective day-to-day services.
-
Advise and challenge senior leaders on patient safety, service quality and patient experience.
-
Support service development, redesign and the implementation of strategic improvements.
Requirements
-
Be a registered practitioner in a relevant profession aligned with the service specialism.
-
Hold a master’s-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant sector.
-
Have a relevant management qualification at Level 6 or above, or equivalent experience.

Demonstrate significant experience managing people, services and resources within the NHS or other relevant public, private or voluntary-sector organisations.

Have experience in budget management, financial planning, monitoring and reporting.
-
Possess relevant skills and experience for the chosen leadership area.

Demonstrate strong leadership, interpersonal and team-development skills.
-
Have excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management abilities.

Show experience in service redesign, organisational transformation and continuous improvement.

Be capable of strategic planning, effective delegation and prioritising competing demands.

Have strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Be proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant organisational IT systems.

Hold current UK professional registration and satisfy the required Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
