Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care while respecting their dignity and privacy.

• Support individuals with medication in accordance with their care plans and relevant procedures.

• Encourage independence, mobility and participation in daily activities.

• Prepare meals and assist with household tasks.

• Help service users with shopping and running errands.

• Provide specialised care and therapeutic support when required.

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote well-being.

• Build positive relationships with service users and help improve their quality of life.

• Travel between clients’ homes to deliver scheduled care services.

• Participate in induction, ongoing training and regular supervision to maintain high standards of care.

• Willingness to work four or five days per week, depending on the agreed arrangement.

• Ability to travel between service users’ homes. Since mileage is reimbursed, confirm whether access to your own vehicle and a valid driving licence are mandatory.

• Willingness to complete the employer’s induction and ongoing training.

• Previous care experience may be helpful, but the advert welcomes applicants who want to develop their skills.
