Job Summary
We are recruiting caring and committed Home Care Assistants to give high-quality support to people in their own homes.
It’s about supporting clients with their daily living tasks, ensuring they are comfortable and protected, and helping them to be as independent as possible.

Duties
- Helping clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Transfers and mobility assistance for comfort and safety.
- Prepare meals and help with feeding when necessary.
- Administering medication as per care plans and instructions.
- Offering companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assistance with home activities like light cleaning and washing.
- Keep accurate records of treatment delivered in accordance with organisation policy.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other health care providers for seamless care delivery.
- Driving to clients’ houses, using company vehicles if necessary.
Specifications
- A valid driving licence and the competence to drive safely to client locations.
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting would be desirable but not needed as training will be given.
- Awareness of care plans and ability to work effectively with them.
- Proficient in both oral and written English for efficient communication.
- Basic IT abilities for record keeping and documentation.
- Excellent communication abilities to establish connections with clients and team members.
- Warm and kind approach with a real desire to provide individualised care.
- Able to work individually or as part of a team.
- Opportunities to work a range of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required.
- The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check, suitable references, and the right to work in the UK.
Training and Career Development

Salary and Working Hours
- Your pay rate will depend on the type of work you do, whether you are permanent, part-time, or casual, your experience, and your qualifications.
- Hours of work per week: 8 – 38 hours.
- This would depend on your availability and your flexibility with shifts.
- The successful applicant must have the right to work in the UK.
- Please note that visa sponsorship is only eligible after 6 months of employment for this role.
