- We are searching for a Registered Manager to take the helm of our domiciliary care service.

- We use Birdie for care management and Atlas for recordkeeping, so you’re not spending your first six months untangling chaos.
- You’ll be able to walk in and lead, from day one.
- This is a permanent, full-time role based in Stafford with the option to work from home as long as the job gets done.
Duties
- Manage the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service and ensure high standards of care.
- Ensure service complies with CQC regulations and is ready for inspection.
- Manage recruitment, supervision, induction and performance management of the care team.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with service users, their families and external agencies.
- Develop, review and audit risk assessments and care plans that are person-centred.
- Rostering, record keeping and reporting with Birdie and Atlas.
- Respond professionally and in accordance with policy to safeguarding concerns, complaints and occurrences.
- Drive continuous improvement through coaching, development & quality assurance.
- Help us to keep the service growing.
Requirements
- Registered manager for the regulated activity of personal care.
- At least 2 years’ experience with CQC registration and inspection.
- Proven track record in managing care staff and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience of working to support people with learning impairments and autism (desirable, not essential).
- Strong working knowledge of adult social care standards and CQC requirements.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards) is a very coveted qualification.
- Strong communication, leadership and organising abilities.
- Cool under pressure, with a real eye for detail and a caring attitude.
This role is for a self-starter who wants real independence, support from a director who will support not micro-manage, and room to grow as the service grows.
