Cleaning Operations Manager – UK Visa Sponsorship

Summary

We are looking for an energetic and forward-thinking Cleaning Operations Manager to direct and improve our cleaning services at a variety of sites. In this key function, you will manage day-to-day operations, maintain compliance with safety and quality standards, and lead continuous improvement efforts. Your leadership will motivate teams, improve procedures and sustain our commitment to providing clean, safe and efficient settings. This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead complicated projects, apply mechanical and electrical skills, and develop new solutions that raise the standards of our cleaning operations.

Duties

• Direct and oversee cleaning crews, cultivate an atmosphere of excellence, responsibility, and teamwork.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive cleaning schedules and operating procedures in line with company standards.
• Manage maintenance efforts on cleaning equipment comprising programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other mechanical equipment.
• Manage the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical parts in cleaning machines.
• Support maintenance and troubleshooting activities through review of schematics and technical documentation.
• Project management of new cleaning projects or equipment improvements, including timing and quality control.
• Ensure adherence to safety rules, environmental legislation, and corporate guidelines at all locations.
• Train personnel in English on proper cleaning practices, safety measures, and equipment operation to communicate effectively.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness requirements are fulfilled and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Keep detailed records of operations, maintenance logs, incident reports, and personnel schedules.

Experience

• Experience managing teams in a custodial or facilities operation in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent project management skills with the capacity to juggle many projects at one time.
• Technical skills in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, mechanical systems, and electrical problems.
• Demonstrated expertise in supervision, with a focus on leadership development and team motivation.
• Mechanical expertise of the maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment.
• Electrical experience in support of machinery troubleshooting or system updates is highly desired.
• Good communication skills in English to be able to coordinate within the team and for reporting needs.
