Salary and Pay Rates for Care Assistants in the UK

What are you going to get?

Pay rates for care assistants:

• Up to £16.25 during the day
• Up to £17.37 on weekends
• Up to £24.38 for bank holidays
• 0.35 pence per mile

Care assistant sponsor:

• £25,000 per year for a contract with 37.5 hours per week
• Overtime is £12.71 per hour (normal overtime is offered).
• 0.35 pence per mile

Waking nights: (hourly rate, including holiday compensation)

• Up to £14.57 on weekdays
• Up to £15.13 for the weekend
• Overseas employment guide
• Up to £21.85 on bank holidays

Sleep-in: (nightly rate, including holiday compensation)

• Up to £100.86 on weekdays
• Up to £110.95 for the weekend
• Bank holidays up to £151.29

Live-in: (daily rate, including holiday compensation)

• Simple complexity up to £113.95
• Up to £142.44 in medium complexity
• Up to £170.93 for high complexity
