Disability Support Worker – AU Visa Sponsorship
Concerning the Position
To assist NDIS clients around Western Sydney, Yahweh Care is looking for dependable, compassionate, and qualified Disability Support Workers.
We are seeking candidates who can consistently go to participant locations and who reside in Western Sydney or the surrounding area.
Blacktown, Mount Druitt, St Marys, Penrith, Rooty Hill, Doonside, Seven Hills, Toongabbie, Wentworthville, Parramatta, Merrylands, Granville, and the adjacent suburbs are a few examples.
Important Duties
Among your responsibilities could be:
- Support for everyday living and personal care
- Social engagement and community access
- Domestic support
- Preparing meals
- Transportation to events and appointments
- Assisting participants in reaching their NDIS objectives
- Assistance with medications within the scope of your training
- Adhering to personalised assistance programs
- Finishing the necessary paperwork and progress notes
- Reporting issues or situations in a proper manner
- Encouraging participants’ autonomy, choice, control, and dignity
Formal Qualifications Are Not Needed
Without a Certificate III, Certificate IV, or any other official disability support qualification, you are still eligible to apply.
While not necessary, a pertinent qualification is preferred.
However, before starting work, candidates must have all necessary clearances and compliance paperwork.
Requirements that must be met
Candidates need to have:
- Current Worker Screening Check for the NDIS
- The most recent National Police Check
- Current Working With Children Verification, if necessary
- Current Certificate of First Aid
- Current Certificate in CPR
- The NDIS Worker Orientation Module is finished.
- A current driver’s license from Australia

- When participant transportation is necessary, the right kind of auto insurance
- Legal rights to work in Australia
- Capacity to fulfill the Yahweh Care compliance and onboarding criteria

While not necessary, prior NDIS or disability support experience is desirable for qualified candidates.
Availability
We are seeking employees with flexible schedules for:
- Morning shifts
- Day shifts
- Shifts in the afternoon and evening
- Weekend work
- Public holidays
- Shifts for sleepovers
- Overnight work
