Description

• Help expand the pharmacy group’s healthcare services and grow its presence in the local market.

• Build commercial partnerships and identify opportunities to increase revenue across pharmacy branches.

• Vacancies: Two positions available.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities to support company growth.

• Build and maintain relationships with care homes, GP surgeries, NHS services and other healthcare partners.

• Identify opportunities to establish new pharmacy locations and expand market presence.

• Promote private healthcare services, including vaccinations, health checks and screening.

• Support growth in over-the-counter retail sales across pharmacy branches.

• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and business partnerships.

• Meet agreed business development, sales and revenue targets.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging commercial opportunities.

• Prepare reports and updates on business development activities, progress and results.

• Travel to pharmacies and partner organisations for business meetings where necessary.

Requirements

• Experience in business development, sales or a related commercial role.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• A proactive, self-motivated and target-driven approach.

• Ability to identify commercial opportunities and develop successful partnerships.

• Good business relationship management skills.

• Knowledge of the Swindon and Wiltshire healthcare or business market is desirable.

• Experience in community pharmacy, healthcare, retail or a related industry is an advantage.

• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for business meetings are desirable.

• Previous pharmacy experience is not essential if you can demonstrate relevant business development skills.

• Applicants from outside the local area must be willing to relocate to Swindon.
