Salary: £10,095 per annum (£24,903 full time equivalent)
Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time

Hours: 15 hours per week, 6:00am – 9:00am, Mon – Fri

The Opportunity

Join our friendly Estates team and play a key role in keeping our Barnsley campuses welcoming, safe and spotless. As a valued Cleaner, you’ll help maintain the high standards that make Barnsley College a great place to learn and work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out a wide range of cleaning duties
• Using cleaning equipment and materials confidently and safely
• Restocking supplies and managing waste responsibly
• Reporting safety or maintenance concerns promptly
• Working both independently and alongside the wider Estates team

Every day, you’ll contribute to a clean, professional and positive environment for our students, staff and visitors. You’ll also uphold our commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and ongoing quality improvement with access to regular training and development to keep building your skills.

You are someone who takes real pride in your work. Reliable, hardworking and adaptable, you enjoy being part of a team but are just as comfortable getting stuck in independently to get the job done.
