Table of Contents
- Review intake requests for completeness and accuracy of client and matter information
- Conduct internal and external conflicts checks using Dentons’ internal conflicts and external databases
- Investigate corporate structures and management profiles for conflict, sanctions, and AML analysis
- Identify and escalate legal, commercial, sanctions, or reputational conflicts under firm policies
- Coordinate with Dentons offices in Europe and globally to obtain relevant clearances
- Complete new client onboarding and ongoing monitoring refreshes for non-AML-regulated mandates
- Assist with engagement letters, outside counsel guidelines, and confidentiality terms
- Maintain accurate records and manage data according to firm policies
- Implement information barriers and document security processes
- Coordinate with team members to meet deadlines and resolve challenges
- Serve as a point of contact for Europe and Global Regions regarding new business intake
- Coordinate with Europe New Business Intake sub-teams for appropriate assessment
- Ensure submissions are reviewed and processed according to regional and global policies
- Support application of regional frameworks and requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline; a background in law, compliance, finance, or a related field is an advantage but is not required
- At least one year of experience performing conflict of interest, risk, and compliance reviews within an international law firm
- Familiarity with IntappOpen is preferred
- Fluency in English (C1 or higher) is essential
- Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills
- Ability to present findings clearly and concisely
- Attention to detail and an organised approach to managing workload and administration
- Openness to learning, intellectual curiosity, and a flexible, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities effectively
- Commitment to high-quality client service and professionalism
