Responsibilities

• Provide clear, helpful healthcare information to patients and customers.

• Answer questions accurately so patients understand their healthcare needs.

• Handle prescription processing, including ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and preparing prescriptions for collection.

• Ensure medicines are supplied safely and accurately in the job.

• Follow relevant legal requirements, professional standards and pharmacy procedures.

• Communicate with GPs and their practice teams to promote pharmacy services and products where appropriate.

• Support efficient day-to-day dispensary operations.

• Help minimise dispensing errors, losses and operational waste.

• Deliver professional, patient-focused customer service.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services is required.

• Current or previous experience working as a Pharmacy Dispenser.

• Knowledge of safe dispensing procedures and prescription processing.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to provide clear and accurate information to patients.

• Attention to detail when handling prescriptions and medicines.

• Willingness to comply with legal and professional pharmacy standards.

• Availability to work 9:00 am–5:30 pm and every other Saturday.
