Summary

We are looking for a creative and experienced Floor Manager to handle the daily operations of our vibrant hospitality environment. We are looking for someone with strong leadership abilities, considerable restaurant and kitchen expertise and a passion for providing excellent customer service. The Floor Manager will supervise the workers, coordinate food production and service, and ensure a friendly atmosphere for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Supervised and led front of house and kitchen staff to guarantee efficient daily operations.
• Oversee food preparation, cooking, serving and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
• Schedule workers efficiently, allocate responsibilities effectively, and monitor performance to encourage a motivated workforce.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all locations according to food safety standards.
• Help to train new team members on service processes, safety standards, and culinary standards.
• Respond to customer questions or concerns immediately to provide outstanding guest experiences.
• Coordinate with suppliers and monitor inventory levels to ensure stock levels of ingredients and supplies are maintained.
• Monitor operating costs and maximise resource use without compromising on quality.
• Assist and promote activities and provide meal planning or special event suggestions.

Requirements

• Supervisory experience preferred. Management experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Extensive experience in food manufacturing, cooking, serving, and preparation.
• Ability to motivate teams and create a pleasant work atmosphere with strong leadership skills.
• Food safety guidelines and best practices in the culinary sector.
• Hospitality management or restaurant operations experience a big plus.
• Strong organisational skills and capacity to multi-task well under duress.
• Previous knowledge in barista work would be a bonus but not needed.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
