Description

• Join Serendip Home Care as a Health Care Assistant, providing person-centred care to clients in their own homes.

• Help clients maintain their independence, dignity, safety, and comfort.

• Location: New Milton, Hampshire, UK.

• Employment type: Full-time or part-time opportunities.

• Salary: £25,000–£33,000 per year, as advertised.

• Visa sponsorship: Not available; applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.

• Support medication routines in line with care plans.

• Help clients with mobility and daily living activities.

• Prepare meals and assist with household tasks.

• Provide companionship and emotional support.

• Promote clients’ independence, dignity and personal choices.

• Travel between clients’ homes to deliver care.

• Maintain professional, compassionate and reliable care standards.

Requirements

• Previous care experience is preferred, with around one year of experience listed as desirable.

• A full UK driving licence.

• Access to a personal vehicle for work.

• Ability to travel between clients’ homes.

• Availability to work every other weekend.

• Compassionate, reliable and professional attitude.

• Genuine commitment to supporting people with their daily needs.

• Relevant Health and Social Care qualifications or GCSEs may be advantageous, depending on the specific vacancy.
