We are looking for Home Care Service Providers that are kind and dedicated to providing personalised care to clients with a wide range of needs. This job lets you help people who need help with everyday tasks, keep an eye on their health, and provide emotional support. Responsibilities: Health Care Assistant UK
- Help clients with their daily activities, like bathing, dressing, grooming, and getting around.
- Remind them to take their medicine and help them do so according to their care plans.
- Make healthy meals that meet your nutritional demands and tastes.
- Keep an eye on vital signs and the patient’s condition, and tell healthcare experts about any changes.
- Help customers with memory care needs, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia, using specialised methods
- Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and make sure that transfers and placement are safe.
- Keep precise records of the care you give, following HIPAA rules.
- Do light housework like cleaning and doing laundry to keep the living space secure.
- Help clients with outings or community events when they need it.
- Follow all safety rules, such as how to do CPR and first aid as needed.
Skills: Health Care Assistant UK
- Experience working in home and community care, assisted living, or long-term care settings
- Knowing how to watch patients, keep track of their vital signs, and handle care plans
- Experience working with people who have developmental difficulties, autism, or other disorders that need special help
- Experience taking care of people with dementia or Alzheimer’s, memory care, hospice care, or working with seniors in nursing homes or assisted living facilities
- Ability to safely carry big things using tools like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Strong communication abilities to work well with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- CPR and First Aid training is a plus; however, following HIPAA rules is a must.
- A caring approach and the ability to be patient when working with disadvantaged groups that need social work or direct support services
