• Operate specialised equipment for cutting, trimming, and packaging meat
• Ensure that all goods fulfil HACCP guidelines and food safety requirements at every stage of production.
• Keep your workplace clean and tidy, following hygiene guidelines.
• Conduct quality tests on meat products to detect any faults or anomalies
• Assist the team in achieving production targets while following safety standards
• Accurately record production volumes, weights, and quality control measurements

Skills

• It is vital to have knowledge of HACCP concepts and food safety legislation
• Good experience or knowledge of food manufacturing
• Mechanical skills useful for the operation and repair of processing equipment
• Basic arithmetic abilities for precise measuring, weighing, and recording data
• Strong ability to operate alone and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
