Manage 20–25 high-value enterprise accounts across Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH), Benelux and the Nordic countries.

Identify and secure new business opportunities, including new prospects and former customers.
-
Develop tailored account strategies and build relationships with multiple decision-makers.
-
Generate substantial new business revenue through enterprise software sales.
-
Re-engage organisations that previously rejected Sonatype or selected competitors.
-
Manage complex sales cycles, from initial outreach to contract signing.
-
Build relationships with C-level executives in major European enterprises.
-
Identify competitors’ weaknesses and win customers from competing providers.
-
Lead territory planning, commercial strategy and sales performance.
-
Work closely with a dedicated Solutions Engineer to demonstrate technical value and secure deals.
Requirements
-
Proven experience closing seven-figure software deals in enterprise software, DevSecOps or Application Security (AppSec).
-
Strong experience selling AppSec, DevSecOps or Software Supply Chain Security solutions.
-
Experience engaging CISOs and engineering leaders.
-
Native or fluent German is mandatory.
-
Excellent communication skills in German and English, particularly when presenting complex solutions to senior executives.

Dutch or Nordic language skills are an advantage.

Experience winning back lost customers and displacing competitors.

Ability to navigate complex organisations and manage sales cycles lasting 6–12 months.

Ability to secure initial sales wins within the first 90 days.
